St.Stephen's School

Harvest Festival Collection

St Stephen's School have just celebrated Harvest. We have been collecting a variety of non-perishable foods such as tins, dried food, cereals ad pasta to share in the local community, and to donate to The Salvation Army in East Ham. Major Tony Button and his wife, Jean, distribute food boxes to families in need, provide food for people who are homeless and cook meals for elderly people in the community. Tony came to an assembly to remind us to say thank you for what we have and to tell us a little about the work that the Salvation Army does. We collected a large amount of food and below there is link to a letter from all at the Salvation Army to say thank you.
