Emily Brown Day

On Thursday 3rd February, Reception celebrated Emily Brown Day. This half term, we have been reading the series of Emily Brown books. Emily goes on lots of adventures with her toy rabbit, Stanley. In Emily Brown and the Thing, she even meets a giant blue monster called the Thing! She has to help him solve lots of problems, including making a potion with some whiny witches. On Thursday, we all came to school in our pyjamas, just like Emily Brown wears in the story. We had so much fun in our cosy clothes! Throughout the week, we have also made a giant monster just like the Thing. We used all of our creative, artistic skills to make it is as realistic as possible. We had such a fantastic time.
