Dutch Visitors

Welkom – Welcome!

On Wednesday 13th November, we were delighted to welcome a group of teachers visiting from the Netherlands. They joined us to learn more about our inclusive provision and to see how we support all pupils to succeed and feel valued.

The visitors were given a tour of the school by our Junior Leadership Team, who did an excellent job of answering their questions and giving an insight into daily life at our school. Our guests were extremely impressed by their confidence, knowledge and enthusiasm.

During the visit, the Dutch teachers took part in some of our interventions, including our gardening social group and art therapy sessions. They were fascinated to see the impact these opportunities have on pupils’ wellbeing, confidence and teamwork.

We were so proud to showcase our inclusive approach in action and to share ideas and good practice. It was a pleasure to host such interested and passionate educators, and we hope this is the start of a lasting connection between our schools.
