Christmas Week and Snow Ball 2024

Our Christmas-themed week was full of fun and exciting activities. The children learnt about the Nativity story and how Christmas is celebrated around the world in their RE  and Immersive Learning lessons. They made Christmas cards for loved ones and decorations for the dining hall using a range of different craft skills. 

Every child enjoyed a festive traditional Christmas dinner with turkey and all the trimmings. Father Christmas also visited the Early Years children and they were all given a gift to take home.  The Reception children delivered Christmas cards they had made to the local community and all the staff contributed to hampers given to the local community. 

During the week, all year groups also took part in our annual Christmas event, ‘The Snow Ball’.  Children dressed up in their party clothes and enjoyed dancing with their teachers and friends in the school hall to songs they had learnt routines for.   It was a week full of fun and a great way to end the year!
