Celebrating Community: Year 4 Vaisakhi Displays at the Local Gurdwara

We were delighted to receive a heartfelt thank you from Harvinder Singh and the team at the local Gurdwara, who used some of our beautiful stage props and curtains from our Year 4 Vaisakhi performance to help decorate their recent Vaisakhi celebration.

The decorations were so well received that even the Mayor of Newham, Rokhsana Fiaz, and two local councillors admired them during their visit. It’s wonderful to see our school’s creativity being appreciated beyond the classroom and shared within the wider community.

We're especially proud that our students' efforts have had such a meaningful impact and strengthened local connections. We’re now looking forward to planning a school visit to the Gurdwara in the near future—another brilliant opportunity for our children to learn, celebrate, and connect.
