Careers and NCW

To ensure the best possible outcomes of the children at St. Stephen’s, we have developed a forward-thinking and innovative curriculum, and this includes careers education too, which is usually only taught at secondary school level. Our pioneering careers education has been recognised by National Careers Week, who invited our Junior Leadership Team to a very prestigious event at the Houses of Parliament, where education and government officials gathered to discuss the importance of careers education. The members of JLT each delivered speeches outlining what career they would like to have and most importantly what St. Stephen’s has done to nurture that curiosity (such at Career’s Evening, Career’s Day, Guest Speakers, Brilliant Club). Their speeches lit up the room and each delivered them flawlessly with confidence and clarity. It was a valued experience for the members of JLT and they represented our school splendidly.
