Brilliant Club Visit Jesus College Cambridge

This term we have had some of our pupils in Year 5 take part in  ‘Brilliant Club.’  This has involved the children working closely with a PhD Tutor, on the History topic of ‘Friends or Foes.’  The children learnt about the Vikings in university style seminars and completed a final assignment that challenged them to work above their key stage.

All the children successfully completed their final assignment and we were invited to Jesus College, Cambridge University for the Graduation Ceremony. It was a very exciting day, where we were given a tour of Jesus College and information about how school is different to university.  The children have been inspired and now have the confidence and belief that they too can go to university.
