Book Fair 2026

We are delighted to share that we had another highly successful Book Fair here at St. Stephen’s Primary School. It was truly heart-warming to see so many of our pupils excitedly sharing their love of reading with their families and eagerly discussing the books they had discovered.

Throughout the week, each year group was given the opportunity to visit the Book Fair with their class. This allowed the children to browse calmly and explore the wide range of fiction and non-fiction titles available. From thrilling adventures and beautifully illustrated picture books to fascinating fact books covering a variety of topics, there was something to capture every child’s interest. Having time to look through the books during the school day certainly made choosing a favourite a little easier after school; although many children told us the real challenge was narrowing it down to just one!

We are incredibly proud to announce that together we raised an outstanding £2,017.50. Thanks to your continued support, this means we will be able to add even more high-quality books to our school library and classroom collections, further enriching our pupils’ reading experiences.

We would like to extend a sincere thank you to all the families who visited, purchased books, and helped make this event such a success. Most importantly, we hope you are enjoying sharing these wonderful stories at home and creating special reading moments together. Your support helps us continue to foster a lifelong love of reading in every child.
