St.Stephen's School

Inclusion

At St Stephen’s Primary School, we believe that all children can achieve. This principle underpins everything we do. High-quality teaching is at the heart of our provision and begins in the classroom, where teachers use a range of scaffolds, such as concrete and pictorial resources, structured teaching strategies, and tailored support, so every child can access the curriculum. At the same time, additional strategies and resources are used to extend and challenge those working above age-related expectations.

Beyond our in-class offer, we are proud of a highly skilled inclusion team made up of leaders, teachers, and support staff who work together to ensure every pupil’s needs are met through a truly inclusive approach.
