Head Librarians
Head Librarian is a very popular role at St. Stephen's!
Our Head Librarians help their peers by promoting reading, maintaining class libraries and acting as a positive role model for other students. They have a genuine interest in books and a desire to share their passion with others.
Their main goal is to encourage a love of books and reading among their peers and to recommend books to others. Head Librarians help other children find the books they are looking for, can offer advice on texts as well as teaching others how to look after and respect books.
They also have to teach and support our mini librarians to maintain and keep the library tidy by making sure texts and shelves are organised,
Why not ask our librarians about our class libraries as well as their favourite authors and genres.
