Pastoral Curriculum

At St. Stephen's we have developed a personalised, purposeful and robust pastoral curriculum that builds progressively from Early Years to Year 6. This curriculum has been designed to be preventative yet allows staff the opportunities to be responsive to any challenges that arise throughout the year.

Our pastoral curriculum underpins personal development and includes many aspects from understanding equalities to developing mental strength. Our aim is that our children develop an understanding of how to keep themselves safe, allow their self esteem to flourish and have the confidence to voice their views knowing they will be listened to and cared for.
