St.Stephen's School

Class 6AW

Welcome to 6AW!

We are a motivated, considerate and energetic class. Our teacher, Annie Wood, is very impressed with the way we conduct ourselves and communicate with each other, as is Jahanara Ahmed, our senior support staff member.  Along with Annie and Jahanara, we have an extended team of education assistants to support our learning and this Year 6 team has no doubt that we will achieve our full potential and be great role models for the rest of the school!

Year 6 is a very exciting and challenging year. With SATS scheduled for May, we are sure to succeed through hard work, resilience and determination. During this year, we will be building on our previous knowledge in both English and Maths, as well as learning new skills such as algebra. This year, we will also cover exciting themes and topics such as the Black History, Ancient Greeks and The Mayans.

We are also looking forward to exciting opportunities such as the Year 6 production, which will allow us to show our flair for performance and the creative arts.

We are looking forward to a conscientious and enthusiastic last year in primary school, where we can excel and be mature role models for the younger pupils at St. Stephen’s.

We can be found in the classrooms upstairs, so please pop in to say hello as well as to see how hard we are working to achieve our potential!
