St.Stephen's School

Class 2RF

Our class is taught by Rebekah Finlay and Charlie Royle, with the wonderful support of Jahanara Ahmed and our dedicated team of additional adults. You’ll find us in Room 7, home to a caring, enthusiastic group of children eager to learn and grow.

This year, we are focusing on independence, responsibility, and wellbeing as we strive to become positive citizens of St Stephen’s and beyond. Guiding us is our WE CARE ethos – Wellbeing, Expression, Courtesy, Acceptance, Respect, and Excellence – which shapes everything we do and helps us create a supportive classroom environment.

In English, reading is at the heart of our learning. We will explore inspiring texts that spark creativity in speaking, listening, and writing. (You can find the full book list on the school website.)

In Maths, we will build strong foundations in place value and the four operations, while also tackling measurement and shape.

Our immersive curriculum will take us on exciting journeys through topics such as The Great Fire of London, The Seaside, Australia and its Surrounding Ocean, Roman Warriors, and Global Heroes – each opening new worlds of knowledge and imagination.

We can’t wait to make the most of every opportunity this year. Together, we will learn, grow, and shine – making it an unforgettable year in 2RF!
