Year 6 Residential to Fair Play House
On the 27th February 2012 a selection of year 6 children went on the most anticipated activity of year 6 - the residential excursion to Fairplay House.
On the first day we were all very excited. First the instructors told us the rules. Then we went to our rooms and made our beds, we found it very difficult because some of us have never done our beds before!!! Our mums would have been proud!
During the 3 days away from home, we had a variety of activities to do e.g. High ropes, caving, tracking (which was in the woods), the night walk and beach art. We can’t explain how much fun and how exhilarating this was. High ropes and caving were a bit scary but we faced our fears and carried on.
It was a brilliant experience; some people have never tried it before so it was a little bit challenging but we were all there to look after each other and encourage each other.
What an amazing and memorable time!
