Year 5 visited 'Churchills Britain at War' museum as part of their World War Two topic.

 

Before visiting the museum, we spent some time sketching St Paul's Cathedral, as it was one of the few buildings in the City of London which was not destroyed during The Blitz.

 

After this, we visited the museum. We were able to see a great deal of artefacts from World War II, which gave us information about how people lived during that time.

 

We also had the chance to take cover in an Anderson Shelter, experience a Blitz scene, complete with sights and smells, and got to dress up in clothing from the past!
